As we have been saying on this blog, there are many Turkish Airlines flights from Latin America: Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico… Without a doubt, this is a sign of the interest that the countries of this continent arouse in the rest of the world, attracting tourists from all corners of the planet, including Turkey. And as a positive counterpart, this also facilitates travel to that destination spread between Europe and Asia Minor. In this post, we review all the destinations that are connected thanks to this airline, although it is not the only one that charters flights of this type, so we recommend that you also consult other options.
Direct Destinations or with a Technical Stop
Before reviewing Turkish Airlines flights from Latin America, it is worth pointing out that the routes included here can be of two types: direct or with a technical stop. The latter can also be considered direct or non-stop flights, since the route includes an intermediate stop for refueling and other possible issues. However, it does not imply a change of plane or the risk of losing the connection, which makes the journey shorter than with one or more stopovers.
This technical stop can have a variable duration, of one or two hours in many cases, which can be good for stretching your legs and clearing your head, since any flight from Latin America to Turkey involves a considerable number of hours.
Below, we group the destinations that are part of the Turkish Airlines catalog, distributed by their geographic area, indicating the approximate duration of each route. In all cases, the destination airport is Istanbul (IST). The list is prepared with information provided by the company, as of July 2025, so the list may be modified depending on the circumstances of each country.
In addition, it must be taken into account that the duration of the flight varies depending on whether you travel with or against the rotation of the Earth. Therefore, we show the duration of the outbound flights, in the direction America – Turkey.
